Cheat Engine Examples

To introduce you to Cheat Engine and patterns creation, we will create a pattern for Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.21.0.3.

Our goal is to create a pattern that allows us to find the player's health in the game. This pattern will help us understand how to identify and manipulate game data using Cheat Engine.

This section is under construction.

Prerequisites

  • Cheat Engine 7.5: Make sure you have Cheat Engine installed on your system. You can download it from the official website: Cheat Engine.
  • Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.0.3: Install the game on your system to follow along with the examples.

Configuration for Cheat Engine

Before we start creating a pattern, we need to configure Cheat Engine.

  1. Open Cheat Engine: Launch Cheat Engine on your system.

  2. Open settings: Click on the "Settings" option in the top menu bar.

  1. Use DBVM-level debugger: In the settings window, go to the "Debugger" tab and check the "Use DBVM-level debugger" option. This option allows Cheat Engine to use the DBVM debugger for advanced memory scanning and manipulation. img_2.png

  2. Enable Extra options: In the same settings window, go to the "Extra" tab and check the following options on the screen: img_3.png

  2. Open Cheat Engine: Start Cheat Engine and attach it to the Minecraft process. img_5.png
